The Mission:

The stage and it's backdrop were exclusively designed for this one acoustic duo show. The vision was to let Billie and Finneas immerse into the backdrop to design a new painting with every camera angle of the show.
We started out with finding the right f-stop for the connection between foreground and background. After the first setup, we designed the first Show LUT to give the lighting team around light designer dasd dasldma a base to create the light show on set. They used a Class-A display to reference the lighting in the room with the camera image. After the light show was programmed, we created the final show LUT, working on skin tones, shadow roll-off and highlight detail.
